Review & rating methodology

How we collect, moderate, and display reviews and ratings across the Veritas CareConnect marketplace — so you can judge what a rating means and where it comes from.

CareConnect original reviews

CareConnect original reviews are submitted by signed-in users who report a real experience. Each review is moderated before it is published. We do not pay for positive reviews or remove genuine negative reviews because of a business relationship.

  • Only signed-in users can submit a review.
  • One review per user per agency; pending reviews can be edited until approved.
  • We never sell favorable reviews or remove genuine negative reviews because of a business relationship.
  • Reviewers must not submit medical details or protected health information.

External source ratings

External ratings (Google, Medicare, etc.) are published by their source and shown here with attribution and a link back to the original source. Rating types are kept separate — a clinical quality measure is never combined with a consumer review average into a misleading single score.

  • Each rating is shown with its source, attribution, and a link back to the original.
  • Rating types stay separate — a clinical quality measure is never combined with a consumer review average.
  • Where a source has no available rating, we show "Rating not available."
  • We honor each source's API display, cache, attribution, and usage requirements.
What we never do
  • Never
Scrape or republish restricted third-party review content without rights
  • Never
Combine clinical performance and consumer reviews into a misleading single score
  • Never
Invent a rating where a source has none
  • Never
Sell favorable reviews or suppress genuine negative ones for payment
